Ellen Healy

As a speech and language therapy, Ellen is passionate about helping children and their families develop communication skills and grow in confidence.

Ellen graduated with a degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies from UCC in 2017, before gaining valuable experience teaching young children in the UAE, and working in an Early Years preschool for autistic children in Ireland. She then completed her Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy at Queen Margaret University in 2021.

Following her qualification, Ellen worked for two years across both mainstream and specialist school settings in Surrey, UK, developing a broad range of experience. Since returning to Ireland, she has also supported adults with intellectual disabilities as a Care Assistant, a role she previously held while completing her undergraduate degree.

Ellen joined the Connect Therapy team in 2024 and has since built strong relationships with families, while supporting a varied caseload across both clinic and school environments.
