Jane O'Connor

Jane qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from University College Cork in 2016 and has over nine years’ experience working in Ireland and New Zealand across specialist school and community settings. She has worked with children, young people and adults with a wide range of communication needs and differences.
Jane has a particular interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and supporting meaningful communication in everyday life. She works closely with families, schools and multidisciplinary teams to build practical, supportive and communication-rich environments.
Jane is committed to neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred practice and places strong value on building trusting relationships. Jane enjoys creating sessions that are engaging and meaningful, shaped around what matters most to each individual. She aims to ensure therapy feels positive, collaborative and tailored to each person’s strengths and goals.
