Niva qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 2008. She has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in many NHS organisations in paediatric settings across London, including mainstream schools, specialist resource provisions and as part of multi-disciplinary teams in special schools for Autism, moderate learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties for students age 3-19. Niva works collaboratively with the individual, their families and education staff to provide meaningful assessment and input, ensuring the individual’s voice is at the centre. Niva is also mum to Ruben (December 2012) and Ravi (October 2016).
